Success!

and failure 😓

I got my server up on Digital Ocean. Configured it all to serve html. Coded a nice little page.

Then I thought i'd restart the server.

Now I get a 502 error ⚠️. lol

I did try to fix it, but being a complete beginner in all this, I wasn't able to figure it out.

That's okay. The server had nothing important on it. Starting again will just be more practice.

I plan on hosting this blog there. It'll be a good experience, and then I should be able to incorporate some backend functions on this page. I'd really like to be able to post from anywhere.

success again! I mean, all I did was start again from scratch, but I think the problem was that I had linked up the node server to nginx, but hadn't restarted the process.

goals 🥅

One of my goals for this year is also to increase my proficiency in using the terminal. At work we use macOS, so I figure that at home I will use Linux more (I've chosen to use Pop!_OS). I think I'm already getting better! I even changed my terminal to zsh, and so far no issues. I'm excited about what else I can do.
